Appointment Information

All our specialists are available by appointment only. Please inform the secretary if you require an urgent appointment and all efforts will be made to accommodate. We endeavour to provide timely care to all patients, however, sometimes due to unforeseeable circumstances, there may be a wait or delay to your appointment due to urgent patients or unexpected problems.

  • New patients should bring the following to their appointment:

    • A valid letter of referral (usually from your GP). This is essential to claim a medicare rebate.

    • All investigation results including blood and imaging tests (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc.). If unsure, bring it along.

    • A list of your current medications (including supplements and medications you only use when needed).

    • Your Medicare card.

    • Pensioner or Veteran Affairs concession card (if you have one).

    • Private health fund card (if you have one).

  • If you are a new patient, please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time to complete your registration form. Wear loose, comfortable clothing as our doctors will perform a complete physical examination.

    • Your doctor is likely to arrange further investigations or tests and start a tailored management plan. Please take care of all provided forms and/or prescriptions.

    • Confirm your follow-up appointment.

    • All accounts are settled on the day via credit card payment.

  • Out of pocket fees for consultations and joint injections vary according to the type of appointment and the complexity of your health problems. Having a valid Medicare card and a valid referral from a GP or another specialist will entitle you to a rebate from Medicare. The Australian Medical Association provides a guide explaining how medical fees are determined.
